Terms and Conditions – Zavea Jewellery

Article 1 – Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

Cooling-Off Period: The period within which the consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal.
Consumer: A natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession.
Day: Calendar day.
Entrepreneur: Zavea Jewellery, offering products to consumers via distance selling.
Distance Contract: A contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer through an online sales channel without physical presence.
Right of Withdrawal: The consumer’s right to cancel the agreement within the cooling-off period.

Article 3 – Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and distance contracts between Zavea Jewellery and the consumer.

Before the contract is concluded, these Terms and Conditions are made available electronically. By placing an order, the consumer confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.


Article 4 – The Offer

All offers on the website are non-binding and subject to availability.
Zavea Jewellery reserves the right to modify or withdraw offers at any time.

Obvious errors or mistakes in product descriptions, pricing, or availability do not bind Zavea Jewellery.


Article 5 – The Agreement

The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer completes the order and receives an order confirmation by email.

Zavea Jewellery reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of incorrect information, suspected fraud, or stock issues.


Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product, without stating a reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must contact Zavea Jewellery via email within this period.

Returned products must:

  • Be unused and unworn

  • Be in original condition and packaging

The consumer must return the product within 14 days after notifying the withdrawal.


Article 7 – Costs of Withdrawal

If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by mandatory law.


Article 8 – Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Hygiene-sensitive items such as earrings

  • Custom-made or personalized products

  • Products that have been used or damaged by the consumer

This exclusion is in accordance with EU and UK consumer law.


Article 9 – Sale Items and Incorrect Address

Sale Items
Sale or promotional items are subject to the same return conditions unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Incorrect Address
The consumer is responsible for providing a correct shipping address.
Zavea Jewellery is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.
If a parcel is returned due to address errors, additional shipping costs may apply.


Article 10 – Prices

All prices are displayed in the applicable currency and include VAT where required by law.

Zavea Jewellery reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed.


Article 11 – Conformity and Warranty

Zavea Jewellery guarantees that products comply with the agreement and meet reasonable standards of quality and usability in accordance with applicable consumer law.


Article 12 – Delivery and Execution

Orders are processed with care and are usually delivered within 2–6 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination.

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.


Article 13 – Payment

Payment must be completed at the time of placing the order using the payment methods offered on the website.

Orders are not processed until payment is successfully received.


Article 14 – Complaints Procedure

Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time after the issue is discovered.

We aim to respond to complaints within 5 business days.


Article 15 – Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in the consumer’s country of residence.

Disputes may be submitted to the competent court or alternative dispute resolution body as required by law.


Article 16 – Changes to These Terms

Zavea Jewellery reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The version applicable is the one published on the website at the time of the order.
